    MiSSING YOU

    It has been a long timing in coming
    This sadness that I feel
    It has overwhelmed me
    This secret that I shall reveal

    I remember the last time
    I spoke your name aloud
    I recall the last time 
    Loving you made me proud.

    This love of ours has endured
    Beyond the realms of time
    Yet lately I have lost the memory
    Of the mountains we had to climb.

    At the time it seemed so easy
    To take a stand for my belief    
    It made a  difference once 
    But not now to my relief

    I wonder sometimes why   
    I didn't stick  it out
    If my many problems now,
    Are punishment with added clout.
                    
    So I have, as of late,
    Been reluctant to decide
    To make a choice with much
     More input from far and wide.
