    Missing You

    Dark clouds and torrential rain

    saturate the soft ground

    creating puddles and rivers

    of mud and water

    Relentless drops

    soothing soundtrack

    to my thoughts and tears

Is today the beginning of the end?

    My heart is in pain

and sobs compete with the drumming raindrops

I can no longer write you whenever I miss you

I must wait for set hours to come

I can already feel the agony of waiting

    My love,

who I keep deep in my heart,

I already miss you beyond words

    And the raindrops keep falling

    mingling with my tears

    until I no longer feel.

I feel wet after reading this (Which is good!) Good use of words.

i love this poem. when reading it you can feel the anguish of missing them.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
