    Missing

Eyes like ice that pierce my soul like a knife
you have truth and knowledge untold
leaving as quickly as you come
tomorrow will be a new day
but who knows if it will come
    relying on
    trust
    faith
    hope
never knowing when you will know
    a day
    month
    year
    never
    like the unchanging time
    like an unpredictable storm
    you are
secretly I wish I could have your
    courageousness
    boldness
    daring but
    soon singing stops
    and voices grow old
    silenced by that old enemy
    time
but all we can rely on is the day
so I am waiting with all my
    hope
    faith
    trust
until the sun rises , shining
    and tomorrow comes
maybe it will bring me closer to what I want

See, I gave a 9 rating and it made it a 8.7? Not that I am anyone to rate but, it should have moved you up? Nice poem. Sorry, caught up in rating politics. Do not know they are fair.

enjoyed reading this. very nice tempo that pulls the reader along. suggestion: re-work last 3 lines. poem tends to run out of momentum in your summary/close.(also,the song, "the sun'll come out tomorrow" also crashed my reading party.)

Keep up the good work... this poem reads so fast... as a matter of fact I read it twice. Nice!!!

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
