MISTAKEN IDENTITY
Clearing her face stroking her hair and unable to tear
My eyes away, taking her to my place where its safe and warm.
Will feed her and protect from harm
And let heart slow a little from alarm
ringing non stop. So tired wanna drop but cant until
Things back in place.
She kisses me and I taste hurt, forever with a pinch of cleaver..
Better watch myself. I don't have much wealth but don't want too loose what I got, don't want to fall in love... No I'm not...
But still...
I lay her down, she lays so still.
In front of fire place to take away the chill
And two pill of Advil will make it all better.
After cleaning her I gave her a sweater and told
Her she better get some rest. Didn't expect Id be put to the test.
I lay near her to watch over, told me her name was Clover
As she slid closer... Up closer.. Right next to me.. Touching me..
Touching me....
Kissed, we kissed and in that kiss I started to see
What went down hours ago. It was no mistake me show-
ing up in that nick of time. The crime
Commited wasn't against her but against helpless brotha
Before me. Held me like she adored and now poured me a glass..
"here drink this, I want to thank you"
And not like one tank.. But two she rolled over.. That Clover
Turned into a cactus and thus the trust went bust
Next following discus... Id been taken.. I was mistaken
And now she raken my heart over coals...
Nose wide open..
Heat broken..
Not copin.
Now I'm dopin life away....
