    Mother Is Her Name

    Mother is her name.
Whatever is wrong, to make right is her aim.
Her love, faithfulness, and loyalty is unmatchable and cannot be compared.
If ever there is a time when she feels your life is in danger, she prays Lord, dear Lord, my child will you spare.
Her love and her touch is like the sweet morning thirst.
Her smile is like the sunset that shines on the deep darkness of the earth.
She always has one eye open, observant and very alert.

    Mother is her name.
When others push you back, degrade you, scandalize your name and places you last
She's the one who picks you up and encourages you and says baby in my book you're number one and all of your worries and cares on Jesus you can cast.
She prays Lord let me live to see my children get grown.
So when her task is fnished and her work is done, into God's bosom she'll go to make it her heavenly home.

    Mother is her name.
For mother will go all the way.
In your time of trouble, she'll drop what she's doing and with you she'll come to stay.
So strange how a mother knows her baby's voice and cry anywhere at anytime.
Always ready to give you that look and discipline you need to keep you in line.

    Mother is her name.
    Mother is her name.
    Mother is her name.

What a great poem. Every word is true. We mothers love our babies no matter what their age. Obviously you feel very special about your mother as I did mine. I always felt she could fix anything. What a great tribute. We best cherish them while we have them.

i feel where your coming from..feels like you were writting about my mom...

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
