Mother Nature
Mother Nature is a whore,
seducing the world with her sunsets,
treating each season as if it were special.
Giving herself to the countryside,
the mountaintops
and everything in between.
But does her sky not cry
Her tears fall helplessly to the ground,
as she begs Father Time to forgive her.
But Mother Nature is a whore.
Time moves on and we all grow old,
Mother Nature’s pleasure sold
by the acre.
