    Mstaken identity

    Remorse lacks regrets
    when betrayal gives sweet gain
    love's boundaries fault.

    Plaintive cries my heart
    her embraces are without
    honest wherewithall.

    I want that succor
    that gives release paramount
    regardless of sin.

    Not more nor not less
sweet bliss I extend to her
    impervious need.

    I have no honor
    illicit are my own dreams
    giving no surcease.

    Desire makes no man
    articulate his own wants
    of vessels once filled.

    Her form inspires me
    wanting this addiction more
    although forbidden.

    Guilty my love grows
this tumor on my weak soul
    unabated my lust.

    She knows I am lost
    preying on broken friendships
    I hate my own self.

    Continuing on
    I await her forever
    deluded, damned cost.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
