    Musical Affair

The bow ever so slightly caressing the violin
    It wasnt just looks
    It was talent
That caught my eye it stopped me made me thing about where I could go
My heart skipped multiple beats and goose bumps came over me
As if it were a plague
    A drama
    The stories your face told
    A  grimace of perfection
The notes staccato as I remembered
They left my mind in awe my heart in your hands and a smile on my face butterflies in my stomach
Now play my heart as the violin you cradle
Striking notes of passion and happiness
    To create a master piece
An arrangement that lasts for ever
Love me as I loved music

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
