My Angel with Wings

I’ll be the light for your guidance
When you can no longer see
I’ll be there to lend the hand
Not knowing that it’s me

A voice behind the phone
A picture in your mind
No better friend could I ask for
No better will I find

An Angel has fallen
Fallen at my door
Wasn’t looking but I found her
Couldn’t ask for more

Her wings, her inner beauty
Touched the lives of all
I welcomed her into my world.

Sage was My Angel With Wings she lost her fight to cancer at 27 she inspired me to once again write in 2001.  Many of our friends called us twins she was a true testimony of love.
