My Angel
Sitting alone in the darkness,
she sighs as tears fall down her face,
so alone she seemed to be,
missing the ones she loved and needs,
she takes a dagger and holds it close,
finally decides its done and over with,
she raises the dagger above her head,
she takes a deep breath and thrusts it down,
she feels the knife stop at some point,
but she doesnt feel the pain of it hitting her chest,
quickly she opens her eyes and looks up,
she sees her angel standing there,
her eyes narrow as she drops the dagger,
she moves away and looks to her wrists,
so many scars are upon it,
so many lies she craved into herself,
her angel moves towards her,
placing a hand on her shoulder,
she cries and says softly,
"you left me when I needed you,"
the angel frowns and says he is back,
he will never again leave her side as he had,
she shakes her head in disbelief,
she is scared to believe,
but she turned and looked into his eyes,
she sees the truth in them,
she gives a faint smile and stands up slowly,
he helps her up and hugs her gently,
her tears fall down her face as she holds on to him,
she missed her angel so,
he holds her close as he says he still loves her,
she smiles softly for the first time in a long time,
her beloved angel has returned,
she hopes he doesn't leave her again,
but something is telling her that he won't leave,
he needs her as much as she needs him.
