    My Barbed Wire Fence

     Ever since I was little
    Ive been building
    a barbed wire fence
    around my heart
    just to keep people out.
    Inside my heart
    is my
    thoughts
    dreams
    family
    friends
    and you.
    Even the things inside my heart
    dont know what all is there
    and I dont want to show them.
    Every time I talk to you
    I get even more afraid.
    Hoping you wont break down my wall
    wishing you wont see what a monster I am
    and praying you dont find out my secrets.
    Ive never let anyone
    learn how I think
    until you came along.
    Every moment we talk
    your going to uncover
    more and more of my secrets
    and that itself
    is terrifying.

    soemtimes we dont want to reveal our secrets to the world and let everyone know how we feel. Good write
