My Best Friend

My Best Friend

Physical and emotional pain,

Thats what I got from you,

It's a miracle I'm still sane

Knowing that my heart's so blue

You rip and tear at every turn,

But still I come back to you.

You used to be my shelter,

My one and only friend,

But I learned very quickly,

That my heart won't mend.

I used to be so sickly,

But you never cared,

Until one day I got so bad,

That everybody stared,

I used to call you mommy,

I used to think you cared,

But now I just call you that lady

Who should have been...

I believe we're put on this earth repeadedly to learn each of life's lessons. Each time we return, past mistakes are not repeated. This is how the eternal soul gains its wisdom to transcend :D You Alexia, are an older and wiser soul than she.

I like this poem about best friends, You thank they love you as much as you love them..But that's never the case..You will always love the memories that u both shared..I've felt your pain Smile Jes

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
