    My Children's Mother

    Show me Lord,
how to take care of my children’s mother.
She is not doing so well today.
There is no heat in her home, and her mind wants to play.

    Speak to me, Lord.

Tell me how to take care of my children’s mother

She knows she could be doing better.

Infect her mind with fruitful thoughts, ones that drive despair away

    Touch my heart, Lord

For strength in caring for my children’s mother

She’s reaching for a guiding hand.

Let me feel her pain, lead me to where her heart is laid

Let my heart bleed, Dear Lord

    I humbly need your hand

To guide me and to strengthen me

To take care of my children’s mother

Give me the words to say, Dear Lord

I know I could do better

To show her she’s loved wherever she goes

She’ll always be my children’s mother

    Open my eyes, Dear Lord

    Blind me with your glory

Fill my life with your warmth and joy

Help me to take care of my children’s mother

Oh I felt the desparation and need. I remembered a few days when that was me. I wanted people to smile when they looked at me, I wanted to see beauty and color and hugs and gentleness. I wanted soothing music and simple food. A prayer I swear is coming your way if for nothing else, for her to have a good day and remmber how to play. God bless...Write on...

The blessing is knowing that someone else has walked this path before. Thank you so much. I will Write On!

with that much intended love, god will surely see, and hold yours high above, a shining example of prayerful art, how all good prayers should be!

Thank you, Rouge. I believe He does see and hear. You may note that the tone morphed from despair to hope.

Yes, a very beautiful work/prayer/poem you've written. In one's closet with the door closed .. prayers are answered with the tiniest mustard seed of faith. Great write.

The process of meditating/praying is never complete for me unless I write it, read it, and release it from my soul. And, it's nice to wake to your kind words! ;)
