My Conversation with God

I look at the world
and I sese
Destruction, crime, and poverty
A world gone mad
In every way
People dying throughout each day
I take it on
Like an army pack
Draging it around
On my back
A weight so heavy,it's hard to walk
And then I think
"I've walked my talk!"
as I fal to the ground
and drag along
every ounce depleted
no more song
I reach out my arm
And try to say
"Jesus loves you, He is the way"
as they step on me
and spit in my face
I have no more words
I've lost all grace
I beg for help from above
"Why have you left me
in this drudge
when I;m trying to bring them You're love?!"
He looks at me
And then He says
"I never told you to walk this ledge."
"But LORD, they're lost
and noone cares!
I'm trying to help you
and you just stare
Letting them trample me
'when I'm dong You're will
You promised to hep me
But You've been still
and I'm angry!!"

"You think I put you in that place?
Get up, stand up and take your space!
Drop the pack
And lean on ME
Listen, I will give it cleary!
All I've asked is that your heart be right
Be obedient
And fight the fight
Learn to forgive
And hear my Words
Don't do more
Now tha's absurd
I didn't tell you
to save Marilyn Manson
I told you to be a LIGHT
To show my compassion
Now wipe off the dust
Go on to the next
I'm in control
Now don't you forget
And know this clearly
Let this in
I died on the cross to remove all sin
You do your part
Do as I say
But don't ;more to "Prove" the way
I AM GOD
Or did you forget?
I take over when you've done your bit
I'll do the rest
Remeber that
Now Kris, let go
Remove your hat
Take off that heavy pack
Know I am GOD
I've heard your cries
Now rest in me
Forget the lies
I'll cover you in the blaniket of Love
Stop looking down
NOW
Look ABOVE!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
