    My Dad

    His Baby Girl, his joy, his world;
    That's who I was to him.
    The one who had his back through any act;
    That's how I got down for him.

    He was everything to me that another man will never be.
    My shoulder for crying, my pillow for hugging.
    My means to an end through any of my troubles.

    See, he was I and I was he.
    Together like dried mud on the bottom of a shoe.
    He would give his life for me.
    I would do the same if I had to.

    No man wil ever be down for me
    The way he always had.
    No matter how much a man will ever love me,
    He'll never love me as much as my Dad.
