    Poem Commentary

    I wrote this on December 13, 05.My inspiration was my then bf at the time who cheated on me, and I was missing my high school bf whom I had loved since third grade

    My Dark Night

    Here I am on the other side of the room,
    I feel like I am in an enclosed tomb,
    Sitting here with secrets untold,
    And secret dreams that dreamers unfold.

    Just like the dark of night,
    That embraces me too tight,
    Someday I will be with you,
    My only love, one and true,

    But until that day,
    Feel my love like the sun's warm ray,
    And never forget,
    Those things we regret.

    For they make out hearts sore,
    Therefore, we will be together forever more

    aww thank you thorzman. This poem was a really personal one for me. I was stuck in a time I did not want to be and writing helped me to kind of escape!!!
