MY DEAREST FRIEND

MY DEAREST FRIEND, IT WAS ONLY YOUR FLESH. THAT BECAME DUST IN THE WIND. THE SWEETEST SOUL i'VE EVER KNOWN.
SORRING SO, HIGH IN THE SKY,PLACED
SO, GENTELY, BY HIS SIDE, FOR HE KNEW
YOUR SINS. MY DEAREST FRIEND, HE ALSO KNEW ALL YOUR GREATNESS. HE KNEW YOUR PAIN THAT CAME TO AN END. i'LL
ALWAYS CHERRISH OUR TIME SHARED.
OH, WHAT AN HONOR IT WAS TO BE AT
YOUR SIDE. VIKTORIA, MY DEAREST FRIEND
YOUR SOUL LIVES ON YOUR SOUL SORES ON.

I haven't lost a close friend to eternity. I've had many move on. I can only imagine your loss. At least she left you a gift, sweet memories that will last you forever. You'll never lose them.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
