My Everything

My Everything

Your face still warms me with desire everytime you walk into a room.

I long to touch your lips,
Hold your face in my hands,
Kiss your cheeks,
Nibble on your neck,
And whisper in your ear.

You are the light of my life,
My desire to get up every morning,
The warmth of the sun on my face after a chilly night.

You are my everything, every day.

Love this one.... As I read this piece I can sense the passion and desire that is held within. The untold yearning to once again gaze and touch her again... Well done.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
