    My gift
    My gift is wrapped
    in fear and tied with emotion,
    filled with hope
    I'm a present to be opened.

    Guilt has brought me
    lost time and dreams broken,
    left shattered and abused
    fates cruel tainted token.

    Still I sit here alone
    waiting to be opened,
    my gifts and desires
    all yet to be spoken.
