My Heart.

    My Heart.

    Do you feel it?
    The love.
    Running through my blood.
    Filling up my soul.

    It takes over my body.
    From forehead to pinky toe.
    And back through again.
    Like a current.

    It tingles.
    And soothes.
    I want this feeling forever.
    Can I have it forever?

    Please don't take it away.
I have never felt like this.
I will cherish you all my life.
    Don't let this end tonight.

    Don't you feel it?
    Or am I just foolish?
To think I had your love.
    Your heart.

Well my heart belongs to you.
    Do what you want.
    Tear it and rip it.
    It wont matter without you.

    The loneliness kills me.
    It makes my heart cold.
    Feelings disappear.
    Like my fear.

    Won't you wake me up?
Be my escape from this nightmare.
    Help me through the darkness.
And breathe life into me again.

I search for you through the mist.
    But I can't find you.
Have you left me for good?
    Like everyone said you would.

The empty feelings fill my body.
    My tortured body.
    Abused by your love.
    Abused by your hate.

    I watch myself fall apart.
    Limb by limb.
You will always have the best of me.
Now someone clean up the rest of me.

    Throw away that trash.
    That worthless filth.
    I don't want it here.
    To contaminate your happiness.

    I see your face.
    You beautiful face.
    My nightmare ends.
But my heart will never mend.
