My Heart

My Heart

I hear the wind blowing above me and I wish I could know what it feels like.

I see the clouds move and the leaves fall as predictably as day turns to night.

I realize that the nights seem longer because you are not here with me.

I wish that the nights were shorter and I could feel the wind the way that others do.

The only thing that I want more than this is to give my heart to you.

My heart has been broken and is fragile, please promise that you won't shake it.

I would rap it like a gift and make it yours, if you promise that you'll take it.

If I could pour my heart into a glass and offer it like wine or if you'd ask me for a drink, then that would be my sign.

To believe in Love or to love and believe, these two are the same.

Love was ment for you and I and we'll never be ashamed.
