    My heart's night

The creepy crawling of the night.
Nothing I can see in my sight.

The cold breeze makes the shivers go up my back.
A crack of light gives me hope.

Then it dashes with no warning.
I am just left wishing for morning.

The breeze pick up and turns into ice cold wind.
I grab hold onto my jacket tighter.

The hours pass and the sky looks brighter then once before.
The darkness tore out of the atmosphere and left the sun rising over the mountains slow.

The world is now aglow with many colors aglow.
The storm has stopped and left.
My heart is the only one that knows.
