My Heart's Wisdom

I promised you I will make you a poem
Something simple, sweet and will not make you lonesome
I thought it would be easy once I get home
But finding words seem so troublesome.

I’m lonely because you’re too far away
How I wish you’re here with me to stay
I’m trying not to sound too clichéd
But sometimes corny words are the perfect things to say.

You ought to know something
My heart for you is truly longing
I’ve loved you from the very beginning
I adore you and count you as my greatest blessing!

It hasn’t been that long since we’ve met
But our very first meeting I couldn’t forget
We hung out from two pm till sunset
Talking to you I will never ever regret.

The times I was down you comforted me in your sweet embrace
The memories we’ve shared I never dared to erase!
You’ve brought back the smile on my sad looking face
You even offered love that can never be replaced.

We’ve fought many times but ended up in laughter
Followed by planning and dreaming about our future together
Through arguments and forgiving our relationship grows stronger
And my love for you becomes deeper and bigger.

I am incomplete without hearing your voice
Without silly stories and exchanging I love yous
Your laughter is the sweetest noise;
The only thing that truly takes away my blues.

Even though you’re two thousand miles away and more
You’re the same person that I truly adore
These feelings are strong, I just couldn’t ignore
I love you more than I ever did before!

I promised you I will write you a special poem
But words are not enough to express my heart’s wisdom
The more I search the more I feel lonesome
So baby, I’ll end this now and just please do come home!
