My Hero

He held my hand when I fell.
He made me smile when I felt like I was in hell.
He inspired me to stay true.
To be strong,brave,faithful,new.
To show who I was and not hide.
To be strong even when people lie.
To follow my dreams but also my heart.
And that he'll watch over me no matter where or when we are apart.
My granfather,my hero.
He might leave.
Leave for heaven.
Now I'm on my knees.
Praying but crying.
My hero might go.
I'm gonna miss him so.
But I'll hold on to my memorise.
All the time we had.
I'll never forget you.
I love you.
Forever pops.
My hero in my hand.

Little typo, thought I'd help you out and point it out to ya "memorise" I believe is supposed to be "memories." Just a little typo, like I said. The poem was very beautiful, and it a nice flow. I find you expressed yourself nicely in this one, and many people can relate. It's hard to lose somebody like a grandparent, they're usually such a strong influence on a person's heart and life. A couple of places I found the flow could be worked on, just a little condensing to not disrupt the... Well, the flow of the poem. Just a little suggestion there. But all in all, it was a very nicely put together poem. Very heartfelt and, well, beautiful. Just know that every poem, I believe, can become at least twice as good as it's original, no matter how great the poem was already, and I think this one is off to a great start :) Just need a little work with the typos and the grammar a bit. Good job. Loved it :)

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.
