    • I've been gone for quit some time but I'm back and ready to write more poetry.

    My Last Teardrop

     To many nights alone
    even when everyone is here
    no one hears me cry.

    Why cant this be.......
    MY LAST TEAR DROP!!!!!!!!
    my eyes are red
    my face is puffy
    I get asked....
    are you okay?
    I smile and say yeah why?
    I try to hide
    how I feel but deep inside I hurt.

    Oh why cant this be....
    MY LAST TEARDROP
    to many people screaming
    the family i worked so hard to get back
    is falling a part
    andf I cant help but feel
    it's all my fault.

    My brother is my daughters rapist
    and her drug dealer
    I always had a feeling
    that my family would be
    together forever.........
    but thats way to much to ask

    Oh why why cant this be........
    MY LAST TEARDROP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Tears of joy are nice, tears of emotional devastation are like daggers in the heart. We have to hide in our own pain because we have carry a mask of normalcy. Our tears are shameful to us because they reveal the pain of the daggers. Let the words flow without judgment of yourself, be angry, be hurt, let go.
