My Life

<center>

This is about my life

whether to live, whether to die

screaming yelling slammed to wall

everyday it seems I always fall

should i live in misery and stay

or die or just runaway

hard and heavy stuff thrown at me

I wish i was blind, I wish I didn't see

The tears and pain I've cried everynight

by morning try to smile with all my might

tried my best but was never enough

the things they did and say was always rough

eternal sleep thats where I wanna be

put me in a coma and set me free

O lord how I long for the day

when you come to me and say

everythings alirght now everythings ok

with nothing left to say

take my hand to the promise land

where i feel the ocean breeze while sitting in the sand

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
