Poem Commentary

My Love Letter was written as a homework assignment in our Singles Bible Study class.

My Love Letter

I woke up this morning, thinking you were there.

Your side of the bed, cold but yet not bare.

My eyes opened big and wide, when I saw your sweet surprise.

My heart start beating so fast, I thought my dream coming true at last.

It was in the cutest little box, I felt like a kid with a lollipop.

I long for you to kiss me, with sweetness of your lips.

Hold me, gently caressing my hips.

Your fragrance is so pleasing it excites me;

Sending soft chills through my body.

I know my love for you is real; there's no other that makes me feel.

As if I'm flying high in the sky, touching the stars as I go by.

With you my King, I long to catch a summer breeze.

As we feel the coolness of the grass;

while we stroll with hand your cuffing my ass.

Your touch, you know it drives me wild,

warming my body, reminding me I'm no longer a child.

A touch that's strong yet gentle with pride,

I love to see you walk your masculine stride.

Forever on this earth, you will be my King,

Forever in my eyes you are my bling bling.

Completely agree! Thanks for commenting.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.
