    My Shining Rock
    I love watching my dad clean and observe his rocks
    he always asks if i like it or what i think bout this one
    i could really care less bout the rocks its just another rock
    ya sure some are pretty cool
    but that's not why leaning over the I'm the sink
    watching him clean them with a tooth brush
    I'm here because i love watching my dad
    in a way he's rock
    i observe him
    and clean away the doubt that i may have in him
    to watch him shine
    to watch him do something he loves and cherishes so much
    and share it with me
    to give me a glimpse into his life
    to understand him a little bit better

    My son wold bring me pretty rocks, of course a flower now and again. I still have that cigar box full of rocks. They are very dear to me and all so precious. Like a rock, like an island, write on.....
