    My Skin.

I am feeling a bit out of sorts in my skin.
You can hardly imagine the places it's been.

    Warmth of the sun.
    Crisp winter nights.
My skin has revelled in various temperate delights.

    The touch of a lover.
    The sting of the wasp.
These are two things my skin has experienced at cost.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
