    The star is my daughter who died at 27 suddenly in my arms

    My Star

     She came into this world
    Like a bright shining star
    She flashed across my life 
    But she didn't go far 

    So many things 
    In that short time
    Filled my heart 
    And filled my mind

    The joy that she gave
    A pleasure to me
    The years of her life 
    My heart was carefree

    But just like a star 
    She faded and died
    Now heart broken 
    The tears I have cried

    Her days were so short 
    But her life was so sweet
    She died so young 
    Her time not complete

    So much more 
    She had to give
    But her lights gone out
    And she no longer lives
