    My Sweet Lauralai

    Sweet sweet Lauralai,
gentle as the moon and beautiful as a star filled night sky

You are my dream, my vanity,
without you I'd be nothing, you are my everything, my sanity

    Console my fever Lauralai,
    with your mesmerizing green eyes

Resuscitate me for you take my breath away,
cause I can't live without you for a single day,

Hold me close and let me feel your warmth and soft touch,
I need you, my desire to be next to you has become too much

    I love you Lauralai,
I want to be with you and never say a final goodbye

i loved it !! it was such a heartfelt sweet realisation in a poem. just lover-ly

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
