My Trials and Successes
I know why I hurt so much today
It's because of all my wrong choices made yesterday
I should've known the long hard road I walked down
would end up hurting myself & my loved ones
I wish I could turn back time and make amends
for the things I did or didn't do
but as we know that's impossible to do
so all I can do is go forward from here
I have much healing and growth to do
before I can even start to recover my life back again
but God has a plan for me and He takes my hand
to lead me to where I'm to go
I am a survivor who can't and won't give up
but continue to strive on the road
towards my final and peaceful recovery and rest
with Him
