Poem Commentary

Okay this was directed at a not so nice employer. whose totally in Love with himself. Liar Caught him in lies. I have a hard time Just letting it go. Get over it blue.

Narcissus

"So we sing a song of dread
and become a man of thread
woven high upon your head
Calm and still remain dead "
Shredded Poser
You are not the cream of the crop
Flower of discontentment
I see your true colors
stained and tattered
Mangled lacerated
shredded
Fading to black
Eat your peace of Pat pie
Vicious and malicious
Maligned with hungriness of discontent
I see your true colors
They're painted on the water
of dissatisfaction
Reflections
In the pool
Narcissus

Here's the best I could do: Goebles, Rove & FOX And so we sing song of dread Becoming then a sewing thread Weaving deep within the minds, Of TV watchers’ corporate head: “Be calm and still, free enterprise Investors need to make some bread. Let corporate leaders run instead We all may then be best off dead.”

Dealing with the frustrations of working with a**holes with pen & paper to vent is better than shooting them, yes? LOL Nice flow, well-crafted. Bravo!

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
