Never Again

    Never Again

    Lie after lie,
They keep falling in my lap,
    I don't have to look,
    They appear, just like that.
    The more I find
    The more I am sure
That I don't want to do this,
    Not now, not anymore.
    You really think I'm stupid,
If you thought you could pull this off.
You must have taken such great care,
To keep This One from me,
For how else could you pull the wool over my eyes?
    Made me unable to see?
I can't believe that after all this,
You are still at your little lying game,
All the changes you say you are making,
Not a chance....You are still the same.
SO from now on, I don't believe you,
Like I should have done in the first place.
    No more second chances,
You deserve what's coming for you,
Honey just remember, it's what you did, TIMES THREE.

It's hard to draw the line. It's hard to stop the cycle and pattern. They say true love always forgives. this poem reminds us that even then there is a place where enough is enough. I really liked the pattern and message. Write on....Tlady

Thank you so much for the comment, and I am glad you enjoyed the poem.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
