never forgotten

never moved on,
though you think i am gone,
the truth is,
i have always been there,
as i watch from afar.
i am the onld man,
sitting in the back corner of the bar,
never speaking,
only staring,
into a seemingly far off place.
i am the shadow,
that follows in the night,
while it looks like im not there,
your path we both share.
i am the small rip in your clothing,
just the tinyest tear,
but still yet you can not ignore,
that i am still there.
to all of my friends,
who are dear and afar,
remember that i am never gone,
just forgotten,
you may not remember me,
but still i watch and i wait,
in a most serene state,
while i will never interfere,
always know that i am here,
that i am near,
you may forget me,
or maybe you will not,
but still yet you are still,
in my forthought.
