    Never really lost

While you were here, in my world
I loved you more and more
    I walked along the ocean
and you were on the shore
While I was in your world
and you were here in mind
We held each other in the rain
we never crossed each others line
We worked together to make life all worth while
You spoke to me with respect
    as I did you
    and that did the trick
    When we are together
    or apart
I always keep you in my heart
    So really, was love lost
    Although you have gone away
No it never was, love is in our hearts to stay

very well written heart touching. A portrayal that even though our loved ones may be gone we will always have the memories.

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
