    New Life

    New Life
    By Earl Burnett

No longer will I spend my life in a haze
I'm tired of wandering around in a daze
I'm starting all over and this time I'll do right
I'll give it my best and with all of my might
This New Life of mine will be for the best
As I focus on my own and forget all the rest
We must live our own lives the best that we can
And remember that each of us is our own Man
So be responsible for all that you do
And do unto me as I'd do unto you

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
