Next Time Around

Awake alone and sick of it
Feeling isolated and tired of shit
And what did I do to earn how I feel
Just stupidly believed happiness could be real
Trusted that I may have deserved a good break
Weighed up my options and chances to take
I would never change that I've got such a gem,
But I can take every chance to get out of this pen.
Crying eyes shouldnt happen so much
Damp pillows add a seductive touch
Smile for awhile, for the time when its mine
Then back under the cloud where I cant even shine.
