    Night Creature

Sometimes it's not easy to fall asleep,
    Sometimes it's not easy
    To force myself to eat,
    Most of the time
It feels like there's a black hole
    Eating up my life,
    Eating away my soul

    At night when I'm restless,
I like to stare out the window,
    Out into the black night,
    I wish I were a night creature
And sleep away the day light

    At night the pain fades,
    Bt never yet leaves,
I have a feeling of people watching me,
    And never leaving me be,
    He has the key
Of whatever he wants to know

I never fall asleep at night
    For fear of slipping
Back into the land of the light.
