No Longer Home

So this house is no longer a home,
Well, who can say they wouldn't have know?
Nothing here will ever be the same,
How do they expect me to stay sane?

Falling apart at every seam.
Content pretending this is just a dream.
Screaming to release the tension.
Tearing apart my insides with the aggrivation.

Forever lost in this Hell of mine.
Forced to forever pretend that I am fine.
Can no one see the desperation in my eyes?
Will everyone find my downfall a surprise?

I guess only time will reveal,
What's reality and what remains surreal.
Hopefully soon I can be saved,
Before I feel that on my tomb words must be engraved.

I just want to say Hang in there, when i read this. It is how we all feel sometimes when it seems there is no way to be happy or normal in the situation we are in, then all we have is hope. A really good poem, i enjoyed it alot. Write on.....

a deep and introspective write with hope and dreams for a resolve, for contentment, and love. A brave and honest write. Bravo!!!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
