    No More Pain

    Across from you I sit
My eyes are fixed, plastered to your uneasy spirit
your slouching body is moving, bobbing, sitting, swaying and falling in and out of consciousness

Your mouth, open drooping as your moments of sleep fall upon you, but you can't, the agony of pain breaks your spell

My silent emotions want to comfort you with humbled words but knowing none, knowing no better, knowing none of your pain, knowing only of your dying inside.

My silent emotions wish to comfort you with heart felt tears knowing no cause or cure

Why should you accept it ?
Is it your destiny to suffer, wither away in pain ?
    I know you,
    I remembered you when ...
    I knew you when ...
I loved you then, I love you now and I always will

Hold on to yourself, raise the bar, spread your wings and take flight
Release it and let go as the inevitable emerges the sun sets

    Darkness no more !

    It's tomarrow once again
And the once darkened room illuminates with ultra violet rays reflecting through each pane giving an illusion of a Raised Spirit

    My silent thoughts concur ...
    No more bobbing in pain
No more sitting up with pain
    No more lying in pain

No more, No, No more moving, swaying, slouching or falling in and out of consciousness because of pain

A new life begins, No more pain, no more suffering
    No more cancer

I like this poem, your writings are so advanced. I was once in a similar situation and you find it a lot easier to let go when you know that someone you love is in pain. It's almost like being suffocated and just as you feel that you can't take anymore I Lord in Saviour does what he promises and remove the unbariable burdens. wonderful expressive poem.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
