No One

If I was to die, no one would care.
My parents may cry, as others would too.
Out of true dispare? No.
Invisible.
That is me.
Completely hidden by others.
My emotions remain hidden.
A true facade that fools all.
Who can see the inner hurt?
No one.
I can hide inside myself for as long as I live.
A happy exterior hiding a deep sorrow.
Who can tell the pain lurking in the depths of my soul?
No one.
Never shall the world see my side of the story.
Why should I not be happy?
I show my true feelings to..?
No One.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
