    This poem was started I scribbled through it and when I went back and saw the page and the words hit me the mark out sure did and does look like an 8.........

    No pain behind my walls

     Tis,tis,tis...........
                            I see all the pain......
    For what did I miss.......
    Standing out, in the rain..........


                               I scratched this out at pain.....
    Now to return to this page..........
                             That once was left unstained....
    The writers wage........!

                                   A big 8 right through these words....

                Is now all I can see.....
    With in these scribbled words.......
                                Exists only me!

                        Heart mended, wounds healed....
    My walls are up to keep pain out......
    Love has sealed my soul.....

                               With no doubt!

                     So if I seem distant......
             Far off and adrift......
                          Climb up to where I went....
    High upon this cliff....!


                             I have walls around me....
    As a mighty guard....
                              Do you have the key?
                           Talk to me softly, not hard.....
                                  I need a we!!!!!

    Wonderfully written! The rhymn and rhythmn are outstanding in this work and as usual a concise poet which I adore. You also make excellent use of the metaphor. BRAVO! a 10
