    No Rest for the Weary

     No rest for the weary
     No peace for their souls
    Can anybody hear me?
      Does anybody know?

    Is it too much to ask that you care?
     Is it too much to be my cross to bear?
    America!!! Where did you go?

    Young mothers ...
     Living on the street ...
    Young children,
    No shoes on their feet
    The Good Book says reap what you sow
     But that don't put rice in the bowl.
     
    Is it too much to ask that you care?
    Too many souls left in despair!
    Where is the America, I used to know?

    Obama says ... "it's looking good"
    so why am I so misunderstood?
    Bin Laden sleeps with the fishes
    but there are still too many empty dishes!

    Is it too much to ask that you care?
    Is it too much for one man to bear?
    America!!! Where did you go?
