Nocturnal Animals
I brush past you on the street
your perfume, so soft and sweet
through a glance that was only fleeting
I can feel your heart gently beating
And despite all the things I want to say
There can be only one sure way
For you and I to be together
For us to live for ever and ever
So give yourself up to me
and thru different eyes you shall see
an existence never thought to be
Of pain and death we are forever free
but in order to have this life to live
we must be willing to give
our life, our love, our body and soul
every part, the one, the whole
I thirst only for you my love
so let me surround you like a glove
