    Not Yet Spoken but Expressed

     There are things I mean to say;
    But can't find the right moment, feeling, or way
    Not yet spoken but expressed
    Expressed in a look, a touch, or caressed

    Your arm around me says it all
    The sweeter you are the harder I fall
    Kiss on the cheek, a hug good-bye
    A smile, a laugh, that look in your eye

    It will not ever need to be said
    Just your touch has me fed
    Love without the verbal words is best
    Not spoken but expressed

    Your hard look, my gentle touch, says it anyway
    But "I love you," is all I have left to say

    There is something about those three words that makes us want so bad to say them, but at the same time, we hold ourselves back. Been there for sure!! As long as you hold it inside, you will have that anticipation, which is kind of a good feeling when you think about it. I have found myself waiting for "the perfect moment" and I have missed it all too often.
