November Days

November Days

November days,
The sky's gray haze
The squirrels are in the busy phase
The "Seize-the acorns"! bury craze
There may be three or four more days
Before the snowflakes first amaze
The quiet gray November daze.

This a great, so quick, just a perfect, brilliat moment. reminds me of Sandberg's "Fog". I love the way it starts out gently and softly then quiclky picks up speed then slows back down to a quiet restfull close. tba

An apt, direct way of capturing those late fall outdoor scenes.. The single rhyme use gives it a special emphasis .Nice poem.
