    I had to look up phoenix to view it as anything more than a place or a bird! Love the poem!

    new york city places prominently in many great works of art...iv been there several times and found it as inspiring as it is geographically confusing(got lost in the bronx once....oh, and i was lost in manhattan as well...terrified me both times) i like the simplistic power of the words you so carefully chose in this one...and thank you for the new word Namaste:)

    i got to visit nyc in 2000 ... for a press check on long island, lol ... spent two solid days just walking around and loved it ... poets house would make a good field trip, lol ... ty for the read and the comment and namaste! :) -dh
