Ocean Blue
The bubbles float a lot faster the more her face turns blue.
The ocean’s current will never realize
How much I ever loved you.
Let’s run for the ocean,
Let’s run for the ocean my beautiful.
Your wedding dress and regrets
Will make you run for the ocean.
At sunrise your body against the edged rocks
Will give you your well earned seventh day’s rest.
For when He made everything,
He was pleased and gave rest.
And you and I, man and woman,
Will be sun scorched to only the best.
The bubbles float a lot faster when her face turns blue.
Your salty tongue.
My clamoring lips.
Run for the ocean,
Before God rolls his tongue and sinks ships.
Run for the ocean.
The ocean’s current will never realize
How much I ever loved you.
Let’s run for the ocean,
Let’s run for the ocean my beautiful.
Your wedding dress and regrets
Will make you run for the ocean.
At sunrise your body against the edged rocks
Will give you your well earned seventh day’s rest.
For when He made everything,
He was pleased and gave rest.
And you and I, man and woman,
Will be sun scorched to only the best.
The bubbles float a lot faster when her face turns blue.
Your salty tongue.
My clamoring lips.
Run for the ocean,
Before God rolls his tongue and sinks ships.
Run for the ocean.
