    "There is a beast that lives inside of me,
    It hates this world and those who inhabit it.
    It destroyes everything that gets near it,
    And pushes away those who try to get close.
    It wins the battles I long ago gave up,
    And hides itself in the shadows of the fallen.
    It took until now to see something worth fighting for,
    But it seems the beast has already won.
    It lives within my skin and speaks through my body,
    Self mutilation and destruction run rampant behind these eyes.
    That thing I see in the mirror every day,
    That beast that lives inside my skin."
